Inquiry Unit

As part of the Victorian Curriculum we need to teach to rigorous standards in Literacy and Numeracy….and along with a whole host of interpersonal skills, there are specific content areas that need to be included. At CPS this takes the form of Inquiry Units through which we cycle according to our school’s Scope and Sequence.

During Home School Learning the senior school had a go at being Coldstream Primary School Master Chef's.

The P-2 theme being studied for Term 2 is Under the Sea and the children have taken great delight in reading and learning about sea creatures. This formed the basis of the in-depth study that was the precursor to their fascinating trip to the Aquarium.
